As a Tampa wedding photographer, I’ve seen many beautiful venues — but Mision Lago Estate in Thonotosassa, FL always feels extra special. Lileean and Chad’s wedding day was the perfect mix of elegance, romance, and timeless style.
A Mediterranean Garden Feel in the Heart of Florida
Held on a warm May day, this Mision Lago Estate wedding looked like something straight out of Europe. The venue’s mix of vineyards, palm trees, stone pavers, and fountains created the perfect backdrop for a modern outdoor garden celebration. The air felt peaceful and welcoming and with the sunshine everything about the setting added to the couple’s clean, classic vision.
When asked why they chose this venue, Lileean and Chad said they loved the Mediterranean feel — and it’s easy to see why. The ceremony space alone, with its vines, hedges, and palm trees, felt like a romantic escape.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Love
Instead of a traditional aisle, the couple said their vows on a runway-style ceremony platform, standing in the center of their guests. It created such an intimate, emotional moment — like their friends and family were completely surrounding them with love. With no bridal party, the focus was fully on their connection and celebration.
Elegant Style Meets Simplicity
The entire day was styled in classic black and white. From the neutral white florals to the bride’s timeless gown from @whitemagnoliabridal, everything was crisp, clean, and elegant. Lileean kept things simple and meaningful, focusing on the people and the experience rather than excess.
Even without a large wedding party, the wedding felt full and rich — because every detail was so thoughtful and intentional.
